Hazel Wassername played by Kristen Schaal. Hazel works at NBC for TGS as a page and used to date Kenneth Parcell. She is sexually aroused by fires and often tells exaggerated lies. She has also claimed that she's married to a guy a coma who would kill her if he ever woke up and that she left her kids in Sears in 2004, although no confirmation regarding the same was ever given. It is mentioned in "Florida" that she is also known as Richard Drench.
Biography[]
Hazel first appears in "Today You Are a Man" when a hurt Kenneth decides to switch to The Suze Orman Show and provides the TGS crew with her in exchange. In the subsequent episodes, she permanently takes over as the TGS page when Kenneth accepts his promotion and starts working in Standards and Practice. She causes unnecessary drama between Jenna and Tracey during the 2012 St. Patrick's day.
Hazel is also shown to be obsessed with Liz, often stalking Criss and her in her apartment while they're asleep. Her obsession with Liz leads her to attempt hurting Jenna so that she could become Liz' best friend in the episode "The Shower Principle".
In the episode "Grandmentor", it is revealed that she lives with her boyfriend, a pimp named Razmig, and has disturbing notions about sex.
In "What Will Happen to the Gang Next Year?" it is revealed that she sees Kenneth as a threat, and rewrites his reapplication to the page program in a way that causes him to not receive the job.
Eventually, Hazel starts living with Kenneth when he offers her a place to stay after she breaks up with Razmig. They then start a romantic relationship but Hazel's claims to be in love with Kenneth often seem false. In the episode "The Beginning of The End", she tries to seduce Tracy in order to get an acting job with his production company behind Kenneth's back and denies her actions when Tracy informs him of the same.
She was later fired by Liz for attempting to trick Pete into letting her perform on TGS. Before leaving, she reveals that Hazel Wassername is not her real name. Following her departure, Hazel breaks up with Kenneth. In "My Whole Life Is Thunder", Hazel is "recast" by Tracy as a young Asian woman (Shannon Tyo) in an attempt to cheer Kenneth up.
After leaving NBC, Wassername sues parent company Kabletown alleging to have been the victim of sexual harassment in "Florida". It's mentioned that she's also known as Richard Drench in her lawsuit. Although her claims make her look worse than any of her co-workers, she accurately recounts how badly everyone treats Kenneth; when Jenna and Tracy tell him to be honest, he confirms those incidents (though he isn't that upset about them) and the bad publicity leads Hank Hooper to finally cancel TGS.
