Jack "Danny" Baker (Cheyenne Jackson) is a Canadian singer and former robot street performer whose silver paint caused memory loss problems. He was hired as an actor in TGS cast in season 4. He was a last minute addition to the auditions by Pete and selected by Jack.

He had to change his name from Jack to Danny because Jack Donaghey did not like sharing a name with Baker. Baker was hired on the show after being the only person in New York who would take the elevator with Jack Donaghey after learning that he had bed bugs. He had a brief romance with Liz which Jack Donaghey disapproved of and eventually helped end.

Danny is earnest, good-natured, and a talented singer. He defers to Jenna when his singing talent makes her jealous, to the point of deliberately singing badly during a Christmas special so she can step in and shine. He mentions that he has a hard time recognizing sarcasm because "Canada has a small Jewish population", and was shocked to discover he was adopted despite his mother being Japanese. By the end season 5, Jack "Danny" Baker succumbs to Josh Girard's memories.

Danny doesn't appear in much of the sixth season until he returns in the episode "Live from Studio 6H", in which he reveals that he has been locked in a prison in Singapore due to the discovery of a suspicious package he was possessing, which happened to have been given to him by Jenna. He makes his final appearance in "There's No I in America", when he asks Liz to help him from being deported back to Canada, but Liz ignores his problem.
