C.B. Essington is the alter-ego of Kenneth in the episode A Goon's Deed in a Weary World. Drawing in similarity to Willy Wonka, C.B. is Parcell's attempt to test Charlie MacGuffin's loyalty to NBC. C.B. tempts Charlie with a rich payday ($5) if he agrees to smuggle a pilot script from NBC to CBS. Charlie, seeing right through the guise rejects the offer and Kenneth gleefully reveals himself to Charlie and Jack saying that Charlie "passed the test".
